Yeah, yeah, I know, I know.

I took a break from logging my food on this blog, it's just been so hectic these days. More or less, I journal but I will admit, I had to take a break from that too for a bit. I'm back on it for the next two days at least and then probably off for Christmas and on again a bit after that. I am not however, going to be journaling on here. I am using my fitday.com account because it's just so convenient and easily calculates my calories for me. I will be back to blogging my food and hopefully improving this blog in 2010. I'll make that my resolution since I don't need the typical resolution, I'm already living healthy.

I am down a total of 83.8 pounds and will be reaching my goal of 100+ total in 2010. It's so exciting! Have a great holiday to anyone who actually reads this blog and I'll be posting on my regular blog over the next couple weeks.

OK, so here's another explanation. The CityFamily/CountryFamily is putting up their Christmas decorations right now. We have a lot of decorations. We are still not finished. I had pizza (2 slices) for dinner with a salad, 2 buffalo wings and possibly an entire bag of croutons. (oops.) I also had a Skinny Cow ice cream sandwich and a piece of chocolate for dessert. I am estimating the total amount of calories consumed to be about 1200 or so so I don't think I am TOO far over my limit. Tomorrow is another day...

Yes, we had an intermission...

Not sure if anyone really reads this but I feel the need to explain myself anyway. I took a little pause. Again. I got weighed on Thursday and found out that I lost another three pounds! Hooray! My total is now 82.8 pounds. I celebrated my year anniversary of Living Healthy Living Well on Friday and I've been watching my calories as usual but once in a while, I have to take a little break from recording all my food. Yes, it can be tedious. Effective in weight loss, but tedious. It's Sunday and I am spending the day decorating the house for Christmas which The Son has just informed me is only 12 days away. Yikes.

I was a major food blog slacker this weekend but I'll try to remember what we had. I had a turkey sausage link with half a cup of sauce and a cup of pasta with some parmesan cheese on top. I also had half a loaf of garlic bread and my standard dessert of ice cream and a vitatop, plus some wine. I am estimating that to be approximately
1300 calories!

I took the day off from the gym today! I managed to run 25 miles last week total so I figured it would be OK plus, it's snowy and yucky out and no one feels like going to the Y.

A mini-hiatus

I didn't disappear forever, It just so happens that on Wednesday, I got a migraine and couldn't journal my food on here. Thursday of course, was Thanksgiving, and today I spent the day shopping and getting things ready for tomorrow. I have eaten 815 calories today and I have a healthy dinner planned so things are going fine. I am attending a wedding tomorrow so I think I'll just take a break until I can get back into journaling properly on Sunday. Or Monday.

I'm keeping track, I'm making good choices, I hope to still have a loss next Thursday... we'll see.

I have another excuse for not tracking my food accurately this weekend... I went out again! A bunch of the ladies from the neighborhood got together for a friend's bachelorette party of sorts and we went to a yummy local BYOB restaurant. I obviously planned ahead for this considering the exercise I did and the lack of food I ate throughout the day. I had a salad, grilled asparagus, a small steak and fries and chocolate molten cake for dessert and various glasses of red wine. It was delicious and fun and I feel like I planned ahead and all should be fine.

Back on the healthy eating and tracking train for tomorrow and the rest of the week... at least until Thursday. ;)
