I have been doing well with maintaining my 90ish pound weight loss but for these past few weeks, I've been finding things challenging to say the least. Halloween certainly didn't help, fun and friends equals candy and pizza and a bit of alcohol so for the next four days (at least) I know that I need to journal my food intake. So... here goes...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1-11-10&lt;br /&gt;Breakfast&lt;br /&gt;Grape nuts 175&lt;br /&gt;.25 cup Fiber One "twigs" 30&lt;br /&gt;1 cup skim + milk 100&lt;br /&gt;305&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Snack&lt;br /&gt;2 clementines 75&lt;br /&gt;string cheese 60&lt;br /&gt;135&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Lunch&lt;br /&gt;Whole grain wrap 100&lt;br /&gt;3 oz "pulled BBQ Chicken" 150&lt;br /&gt;Yogurt 130&lt;br /&gt;TJ's  low-sodium soup 100&lt;br /&gt;1 can pineapple 140&lt;br /&gt;1 piece sea salt chocolate 50&lt;br /&gt;670&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Snack&lt;br /&gt;30 gms Paul Newman pretzels 120&lt;br /&gt;Laughing cow cheese 35&lt;br /&gt;No sugar added peaches 60&lt;br /&gt;215&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Dinner&lt;br /&gt;(We went to McDonald's because it was a fundraiser for The Son's school. I tried to make a "healthier choice" but it's VERY difficult to do at McD's because of the sodium.)&lt;br /&gt;Grilled chicken sandwich 420&lt;br /&gt;small fries (can't resist) 230&lt;br /&gt;Side salad 40&lt;br /&gt;my own dressing 100&lt;br /&gt;croutons 60&lt;br /&gt;850&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;This is embarassing to write but I came home and had a slice of pizza which I estimate at about 300 calories and then I had my standard dessert of vita top muffin with light ice cream on it. About 380 calories ... Let's hope that Cycling class really DID burn 800+ calories!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Daily total&lt;br /&gt;2855&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Had a great cycling workout this morning and when I investigated the calories burned, a couple different sites say over 800! REALLY? I am back to blogging my food, at least for the next three days until I get weighed again on Thursday. My weight loss total is 86.4 pounds. I am only 10 pounds away from a "healthy" BMI. I know that BMI is just a guide but at this point in time, it's the best guide we have to gauge our health, in my opinion.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I have lots of weight management classes forming and it looks like I am going to be one very busy nutritionist. It means that I might have to start getting to the gym at 5AM, not really happy about that but I have to work out and it would be nice to just get it over and done with each day. If all pans out, I will have...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;One large class on Mondays at lunch, A small class on Tuesdays at lunch that we hope to grow into a larger class, volunteering in The Son's classroom every other Wednesday and teaching swimming on Wednesday evenings, A medium class on Thursday afternoons, a class that I attend on Thursday afternoons and a large class on Thursday evenings, two classes on Saturday mornings... phew! That's a lot! More or less, I journal  but I will admit, I had to take a break from that too for a bit. I'm back on it for the next two days at least and then probably off for Christmas and on again a bit after that. I am not however, going to be journaling on here. I am using my &lt;/span&gt;&lt;a style="font-family: times new roman;" href="http://fitday.com/"&gt;fitday.com&lt;/a&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;"&gt; account because it's just so convenient and easily calculates my calories for me. I will be back to blogging my food and hopefully improving this blog in 2010. I'll make that my resolution since I don't need the typical resolution, I'm already living healthy. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family:times new roman;"&gt;I am down a total of 83.8 pounds and will be reaching my goal of 100+ total in 2010. It's so exciting! I am estimating the total amount of calories consumed to be about 1200 or so so I don't think I am TOO far over my limit. I took a little pause. Again. I got weighed on Thursday and found out that I lost another three pounds! Hooray! My total is now 82.8 pounds. I celebrated my year anniversary of Living Healthy Living Well on Friday and I've been watching my calories as usual but once in a while, I have to take a little break from recording all my food. Yes, it can be tedious. Effective in weight loss, but tedious. It's Sunday and I am spending the day decorating the house for Christmas which The Son has just informed me is only 12 days away. Thursday of course, was Thanksgiving, and today I spent the day shopping and getting things ready for tomorrow. I have eaten 815 calories today and I have a healthy dinner planned so things are going fine. I am attending a wedding tomorrow so I think I'll just take a break until I can get back into journaling properly on Sunday. Or Monday. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: times new roman;"&gt;I'm keeping track, I'm making good choices, I hope to still have a loss next Thursday... we'll see. I went out again! A bunch of the ladies from the neighborhood got together for a friend's bachelorette party of sorts and we went to a yummy local BYOB restaurant. I obviously planned ahead for this considering the exercise I did and the lack of food I ate throughout the day. I had a salad, grilled asparagus, a small steak and fries and chocolate molten cake for dessert and various glasses of red wine.
